Cobalt - To Record New Album
While fans received the news that Phil McSorley would leave Cobalt last month, the door was open for Erik Wunder to continue making music under the Cobalt moniker and today a new album is confirmed. That's right, a new Cobalt is imminent to follow 2009's Gin. It appears that Phil McSorley had a change of heart. Are you excited for a new album?
The following message was posted on the band's Facebook page by Phil McSorley: "In the end, all one ever experiences is one's self. Erik and I have had a rocky last few years due to extreme personal experience. I can't discredit him for his profound personal development, considering that I have been elusive due to my nature as well. We have spoken and a new Cobalt album will be recorded, and will be massive and overshadow everything we, and many others, have ever done."
