Anathema - New Song Posted Online
Doomists Anathema have posted a second new song on their official website. The first song was called "Everything" and this new one is called "A Simple Mistake." The band have said that :A Simple Mistake" is still a work in progress, but they've posted it online to give fans an idea of their new material. They've also said that they've progressed and this song is again different. As well as that, Anathema will be playing their new songs at their upcoming concerts.

Here is a comment by the band: "This song is still a work in progress, but we feel it is right to release this version online, to give you an idea of some of the musical 'colours' we are painting in these days. It is not the way of anathema to go on repeating past successes. It is our intention to take the road less travelled and to push the boundaries of what we are doing with each new chapter in our career. We feel it is our duty to reach out for new ideas and new ways to express those ideas."

Great songs, especially Everything. I have only heard The Silent Enigma from them, so I was really suprised!

This new song A Simple Mistake is really awesome. I like it much more than Everything. Quite innovative and filled with emotions. I love this. Maybe their next album will be better than A Natural Disaster!  And for those who don't like their old stuff; stop whining and listen to their old stuff if you prefer that. This is a lot better anyway, and I'm glad Anathema didn't want to keep making the same songs over and over again.

I prefer the new Anathema. A natural disaster is great, even tough it isn't metal. 'Everything' is wonderfull

What are you talking about???Are you serious??I don't actually think that you know the whole Anathema discography..Everything is good, but A simple mistake is great song. And to be honest, Anathema sound alike Colplay, but they haven't stolen The clocks! Also, mr. Godsent i don't think that you 've ever heard Colplay,too.. Have you?And finally, to everyone, stop comparing them. Anathema have much bigger history than Colplay do.
