Meshuggah - Announce New Album 'The Violent Sleep Of Reason'


Swedish tech metallers Meshuggah will release their highly anticipated new album on October 7th via Nuclear Blast Records. The title will be The Violent Sleep Of Reason, which is inspired by Francisco Goya's painting called "The Sleep Of Reason Produces Monsters". The cover art is done by Keerych Luminokaya, who have previously worked with the band. The Violent Sleep Of Reason was engineered by Tue Madsen of Puk Studios in Kaerby, Denmark.

not pointless, it tells me that it"s another album produced modern in the worst sense
clean, far too bassy, and focus more on drums than guitar
so i already hear that it won"t be an album i need to check updates on
