I actually like the new Danzig tracks quite a bit.

Back in the day, I loved everything Glenn was associated with....Misfits, Samhain, Danzig, but BlackAcidDevil really turned me off, then I heard how mediocre 666, 777 and Circle of Snakes were (in my opinion anyway), and gave up. But after hearing these new tracks along with Deth Red Sabbaoth (which I hadn't bothered with) I'm actually getting back into his stuff after all these years.

Well let me tell you. Anybody who's been in an actual fight or two ? as opposed to talking shit from the safety of your computer like the people that bring this shit up every time Danzig's name is mentioned ? knows it's easy to get your ass handed to you in a real brawl with a bigger dude no matter how much martial arts training you have. I've seen it happen quite a few times, even to myself. Hell, I have a close friend who is a career U.S. Green Beret that has two black belts who has been completely overpowered by a 400 pound land-monster just because he was so big, heavy, and powerful.

Anybody who never lost a fight hasn't been in very many, and laughing at someone losing a fight is like saying an outfielder who strikes out seven times out of ten is a shitty ball player. At least Danzig has the balls to not stand there and take shit from someone who is three times his size. Do you? Somehow I doubt it.

Danzig has repeatedly claimed the entire incident was a setup, and honestly, that sounds right..That band's record sales tripled after that incident.

...and maybe I'm just getting old, but to me, a lot of Danzig's stuff from the last two albums (including the new one) sound like they would have been right at home on Lucifuge, How the Gods Kill, or Danzig 4. Tommy Victor is a hell of a guitarist...and Danzig still has plenty of diehard fans, believe me.

I mean, I understand if you were a fan at one time and simply don't like the new stuff, it's not exactly the same, and like I said before, they went through a long period of mediocrity before they grabbed my attention again and I was a huge fan. You have a right to your opinion, but it's clear that some of you just flat out hate Danzig, and if so, why bother to post on news of him?
