X Japan - Returning To The U.S. To Play At Coachella
X Japan will return to the U.S. to perform at the Coachella festival in California this year. The Japanese metallers haven't released an album in 20 years, but the band is currently working on a new album to drop in 2018 and also released their highly personal "We Are X" documentary to critical acclaim.
2018 will mark the return to drumming for Yoshiki. After his emergency surgery last May to replace a cervical vertebral disc, Yoshiki will perform his first major concert with X Japan since the group headlined SSE Wembley Arena in London last March.
Yoshiki returned to playing drums on NHK's annual Kōhaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Song Battle) television program, which aired on December 31st.
