In Flames 2: Electric Boogaloo

It was always going to be a risk re-recording old material, it only serves as a comparison to how far they have fallen. Hopefully they try writing new material in the style of the old but I won't hold my breath.

The comments here are a breath of fresh air. There's people on their Facebook commenting that they prefer this version of these Clayman songs, it's embarrassing.

Honestly, this video sounds fine, but that's because Bullet Ride is the best track from Clayman and it's hard to fuck it up. There were a couple of moments near the end that I kinda liked, but generally this record is very redundant, although as Omne mentioned above, maybe revisiting this material might make them move a bit back towards the 2000s stylistically

This one isn't even that bad, listen to the re-recorded "Only For The Weak" if you want a real good laugh. The only one of these re-recordings that I don't mind is "Clayman". Really though, after hearing these re-recordings, it got me listening to the original again. Then I went and bought Colony. So, well done In Flames, your new shit sucks, but you still got money from me!

This song is actually not bad, and the leads towards the end is enjoyable. Pinball Map is also a pretty good re-intepretation. Only For The Weak is another story... 😂
