Artillery - To Release 2-Track Single Next Month

Artillery are pleased to announce that this October they are going to release a new single, titled The Last Journey, as tribute to the late guitarist Morten Stützer. The track will feature former vocalists, Flemming Rønsdorf and Søren Adamsen, with a B-side cover of Metallica's "Trapped Under Ice". Due out October 16th via Metal Blade Records.

Artillery will enter Medley studio again on the 5th of October to record a new studio album with new guitar player Kræn Meier; with plans to announce 11 new festivals and touring as soon as the Corona situation allows it.

Statement from the group: "When Artillery lost Morten in October last year, we decided to do a song to honor him. The song is called "The Last Journey" and feature former singers Søren Adamsen and Flemming Rønsdorf together with the rest of the band. A very epic song. The B side is also one of Mortens and Artillery's fave songs, a cover of Metallica's "Trapped Under Ice", which they put the final touches on in our and Mercyful Fate's rehearsal room, which they borrowed just before recording it in Sweet Silence in 1984."

They've been painfully average for a decade now. I doubt this will be any different.
