Kamelot - Ready To Enter The Studio

Kamelot guitarist Thomas Youngblood has confirmed that the band is preparing to enter the studio, to record the follow-up to 2018's The Shadow Theory, with producer and engineer Sascha Paeth at the helm. A mid-2021 release is expected.

In a new interview with the "Rockum" radio show, Youngblood stated: "We have pretty much narrowed it down to 12 songs for the new album. We're gonna be working with Sascha Paeth again on production. And we're very excited. It's probably gonna come out the middle of next year."

Last decent album they released was the first one with Tommy (Silverthorn, I believe). Last great album they released was Ghost Opera.

My hopes are low, so maybe they'll somehow surpass them.

I enjoyed Haven, but the other albums with Karevik are just meh.

And I think the last great album they released was The Black Halo.

Imagine a Kamelot album with the influence of The Black Halo + EPICA, now that would be some epic stuff.. but great to hear from them heading to the studio

I find Tommy's vocals very good, that is why i give the latest albums quite a lot of spins....
