But....why?

could be because they have a contract to honor, not the best reason but hey... what can they do?
could be because they have fun making music? After all they are...musicians.

I'm gonna listen to this, because i am curious and I have listened to most of their work after all.
Old age has caught up with Klaus, I saw a video of them live a little while ago and he sounded like an old man...
But we'll see...

As much as it hurts to admit, Klaus can't perform live as he used to. The voice and tone are accurate. It's his lungs that can't provide the air needed (so it seems to me). He just sounds tired. He might still sound good in an acoustic show, or if they wouldn't have a show every second day (before COVID, that is). Still looking forward to it. Hopefully it's more of a Sting in the Tail thing (more solid, more of an album) than Back to Forever (which was too generic and not intended to be a new album after all, and that's obvious).

Remember when Scorpions said that Sting in the Tail would be their last album? Well, here we are 11 years later and...yeah haha. Hey, I'm all for bands continuing to come out with new material, no matter how old, as long as the quality is there. Whether that applies to Scorpions new material, well, seems the consensus is split.
