German folk metal representatives Finsterforst are planning to release a brand new EP. However, to achieve this goal, the band need some help with the finances and have therefore started a crowdfunding campaign at this location.

Commented the band: "17 years of Finsterforst - what a ride and we are still full of ideas! And what would be better than a new EP? Corona doesn't make it easy for us: no concerts also means low cash in the bank account and studio recordings, editing, mix & master, artwork, photoshoot, music video and much more cost massive amounts of money, of course. But right now we need new music and epic ideas! We are happy about any help!

"After five albums and two EPs it's time for more Schwarzwald Epic to bridge the gap until the next album. But don't worry, bridging this time doesn't mean finding and letting off steam (#YOLO), but the exact opposite. The new EP is supposed to set new standards in terms of epicness and massive heaviness. We're looking at 30+ minutes of all-new material, forged into a single crushing song peppered with the Finsterforst-typical elements of sophisticated harmonies and pounding grandeur.
