Equilibrium - 'Revolution' Single & Video Unleashed
While Equilibrium are still busy working on their upcoming 7th album, which will see the light of day in 2022, the German metallers take a moment to reflect on their past and also offer a first taste of what's to come in the future. With "Revolution" single, the band is once again mixing their folk roots with modern elements.
Mastermind René 'Berthammer' Berthiaume states: "While we are constantly working on our new album, we now took some time to release a new song and music video. We are very happy about the result, because it combines our folky roots with our current style. The moment to be able to hit the stage again comes closer and we cannot wait to present our new material also live again!"

"One Folk" was better imo. But I'm glad they don't kept the style of "Renegades". .... god, what a major failure that was.

Quite a lot cheesy, I'd say. Renegades wasnt good but I'm not happy with the step back either. Not sure if this is what Rene really wants. Who knows. Anyway, it keeps getting simpler (structure-wise) and more over-produced, unfortunately. Feels kinda lazy but what can i do.

This was, for the most part was, underwhelming. Although, it didn't actively make me angry like Renegades. My main thing is that the vocals and nowhere as dynamic as they need to be for a song that doesn't have a whole lot going on. Although, there is a bit of potential, so I am cautiously optimistic.

I love old Equilibrium album soo much, I love live Equilibrium sooo much, and I want to love this sooo much .. But I don't. This feel pretty uninspired, too simple compared to what they proposed in the past, too cheesy
