Be'lakor - Announce Album Release, Launch First Single

Progressive melodic death metal masters Be'lakor are back with new album announcement. The fifth full length instalment in entitled Coherence and will see its official release on October 29th through Napalm Records. Recorded in Melbourne with Troy McCosker. Mixed by Jens Bogren and mastered at Fascination Street by Tony Lindgren, the album clocks in at a little over an hour. In celebration of this announcement, Be'lakor premiere the first single/video, "Hidden Window".

Steve Merry (piano/synths) from Be'lakor about Coherence: "We're excited to share this album after five years of quite intense work on it. It's pushed us in many ways. Coherence has two of our longest ever songs; it has some really substantial instrumental tracks; it's heavy and progressive in places, but still full of the melody that drives our work. The album's lyrics also explore quite different ideas to those of our earlier albums. We look forward to working with Napalm Records on this release and sharing this music with our fans!"

02. The Dispersion
03. Foothold
04. Valence

That first song is excellent, particularly in the mid-late stages, already making me optimistic that this can match/exceed Vessels

It's only one thong, yet there's soo much in there already.

One thong is usually enough, but fair play to whoever managed to pack that much in there

The first single didn't catch me instantly but it grew on me, Be'lakor never fails to impress. It's a great day whenever I hear about something new coming from these guys

It has harsher vocals, calmer guitar parts a bit late mid period Insomnium. I like this. It was a while when I listened this band, I know I have listened each album once, and maybe even missed maybe one.
