Testament - Chuck Billy Working On Solo Album
Testament have a lot on their plate, including a fall U.S. tour with Exodus and Death Angel, and another album that will follow up last year's Titans Of Creation. However, frontman Chuck Billy isn't slowing down as stated in a recent interview on The Jasta Show (hosted by Hatebreed vocalist Jamey Jasta) that he has a been working on music for his first solo album, which he says the direction will be somewhat different from the music of Testament and might include guest appearances from Mark Morton (Lamb Of God) and Gary Holt (Slayer, Exodus). I hope he does a decent amount of clean singing on the solo album. I always thought he sounded great on the ballads Testament did, go listen to Touching the Earth on James Murphy's solo album, Chuck sounds great and its a pretty awesome song to boot.
