An official Black Sabbath album where Glenn and Tony both share in the writing is what I mean. I think he just did songs here and there on the solo albums and only sang on the "Sabbath" album he was on.

I don't think that would be possible from a legal point of view. Black Sabbath is not owned by Iommi alone to decide what he wants to do with it anymore. I recall some legal issues the band had with Ozzy before he officially joined the band again as a permanent member and thus dropping the lawsuit. I believe this was the reason why Iommi had to make a separate band with Dio to release that album in the 2000s.

Black Sabbath is a done job and should be laid to rest IMO. As long as they want to release music, it doesn't matter if they release it under the BS moniker or not.

You want The 1996 DEP Sessions album, then. Written and recorded as a Sabbath album, but not released til almost a decade later as an Iommi album (with the drums replaced by a new drummer). All songs credited to Iommi/Hughes.
