Former Danzig bassist Howie Pyro, who was also a founding member of the New York-based punk band D Generation, has passed away at the age of 61. The Rolling Stones webzine reported that Pyro had undergone a liver transplant last year and was recovering in a Los Angeles hospital. Jesse Malin, Pyro’s friend and bandmate in D Generation, confirmed his death from Covid-related pneumonia following a long battle with liver disease.
