Oceans Of Slumber - Drop New Song
"The Lighthouse", the newest song and music video from Texas-based Oceans Of Slumber's next full length instalment Starlight And Ash, has surfaced online. Video clip directed by Angela Herr and Bianca Greene.
Vocalist Cammie Beverly says about the song and video: "In true story-telling fashion, "The Lighthouse" evokes the frenzied emotions of the evangelical south’s dangerous religious leanings. Leading with an ominous gospel, "The Lighthouse" is a song as dark and atmospheric as the humid air that hangs heavy in our region."

I feel I'm definitely gonna skip this disc. Such a shame a band that has conquered so much space in the metal scene go downhill by this shitty radio-friendly sound. This lacks not only the heaviness, but also the passion, the blast from what they had built in their previous efforts.
