Threshold - New Studio Album Announcement, First Single Launched

The UK prog masters Threshold return with their 12th full length album Dividing Lines, which is set to be released on November 18th via Nuclear Blast Records. Dividing Lines marks the second album since the return of former vocalist Glynn Morgan, who reunited with the band on their previous effort Legends Of The Shires (2017). Get your first taste of the album with the single "Silenced", which comes with a stunning new video.

Richard West comments on the song: "Silenced" is about how we seem to be heading towards less voices, less artists, less venues, less platforms where everyone can be heard. People seem so scared to speak out or debate anything anymore. I know I sound old but I miss the good old days! When freedom of speech goes then society is lost."

Tracklist as follows:

01. Haunted
02. Hall Of Echoes
03. Let It Burn
04. Silenced
05. The Domino Effect
06. Complex
07. King Of Nothing
08. Lost Along The Way
09. Run
10. Defence Condition

Haven't listened to this new song but missing Damian goes without saying for me. On a related note. My biggest surprise a couple of weeks ago was discovering that Damian is the new singer for Arena. I'm having hard time wrapping my head around that one.

I.

The single was pretty boring, like For the Journey boring.

Yep, not their best...

On the Wilson discussion, yes he is great and has a very personal voice. But I really liked Morgan on their previous album (haven't heard their firsts with him), Small Dark Lines or Stars And Satellites are great songs thanks to his voice. Anyway, two great singers!
