After the passing of their drummer Maximiliano Colunga (at the of 37), death metal veterans Disinter (USA) shared a statement in which they have revealed future plans.




Statement from Disinter (USA): "Divided we fall... At this time communications and understandings have failed within the band and between the current line-up. Unfortunately, moving forward for Disinter (USA) will probably consist of a few farewell shows at the end of 2024 into 2025 with past and current members and special guests. And possibly a final terminal release, as there's an unfinished set of songs needing completion...

"Unfortunately this was unexpected and not what we needed or wanted after these last few years of hard work. But without communication and understanding and a common goal for whats best for the band, there can be no band. So this is the way it is...

"Michael "Bats" Martocci and Max Colunga are moving forward with a new project, Cease To Exist featuring Evil Ed original Disinter (USA) vocalist. Sure to be brutal! Jon Billman and Casey Loving will be focusing on The Suffering. Mike LeGros is wrapping up a recording with Earthen, along with Jon participating.
