Mick Moore, who played bass in Avenger in years between 1982 and 1986 as well as between 2005 and 2007, has passed away. He also performed in Blitzkrieg in the 80's and early 90's.

Vocalist Brian Ross said: "Much respect and love goes out to Mick Moore who sadly passed away on 5th December. He was in the Blitzkrieg line up back in 1980-81, and reprised his role on the first Blitzkrieg album A Time Of Changes in 1985. Mick and I were together in Avenger with Gary Young and together we created something special. He will always be a member of the Blitzkrieg Family and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a brother to me and will be missed. I find it hard to express my grief but my love for him is easier to show. Love you brother."
