Man, I don't really know how to feel about this. Rakshak's songs were so full of depth and meaning. That's why I fell in love with the band. It seemed they had something to say, a story to tell. Songs like Gaddaar, Aaj, Machi Bhasad, Dana-Dan, Yaad, Endurant, were all fighting for the listener's attention on an album that had zero fillers.

The three tracks realeased from Nu Delhi so far are all musically original, but take a much more superficial lyrical approach that reminds me more of bands like J.B.O. or Excrementory Grindfuckers than System Of A Down or Japanische Kampfhörspiele. Played more for laughs and light entertainment than serious messages.

I hope the rest of the album plays more to the strenghts of Rakshak than following this more superficial path.
