Blackened death metal band Sinsaenum – featuring guitarists Frédéric Leclercq (ex-DragonForce, Kreator, Loudblast) and Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast), co-lead vocalists Sean Zatorsky (Dååth, ex-Chimaira) and Attila Csihar (Mayhem), together with bassist Heimoth (Seth) – will return later this year with their third album, In Devastation, due out August 8th via earMUSIC. A music video for the title track is now available and can be watched below.




This upcoming release marks Sinsaenum’s first new material since the passing of founding drummer Joey Jordison (Slipknot, Murderdolls) in 2021. The album serves as a cathartic tribute to both Jordison and guitarist/founder Frédéric Leclercq’s late father, with themes of grief and loss shaping its tone.

Leclercq added to that: “I was devastated, hence the title of this album. But we knew we had to carry on. This record is our tribute to my father, to Joey, and to anyone who’s ever had to find strength in their darkest moments.”

Drumming duties have since been taken over by Andre Joyzi, who previously worked as Jordison’s drum tech.
