Rotting Christ - Begin Recording New Album, Due In 2016

According to Rotting Christ's Facebook page, the band has entered the studio to begin the recordings for a new album. The album is scheduled for release in "early 2016". This means that the follow-up to Kata Ton Daimona Eaytoy is coming at last. All you have to do now is wait a little bit longer and start anticipating new music from the Greek melodic black metallers.

The band's update: "After more than a year of intense and deep esoteric search we feel that we still have to reveal something out there. A new album with brand new creations for very early 2016! The recordings has just started in Devasounds studios Athens with Sakis in the production as we did and with our last albums. We will work hard to not disappoint you. Drums are first on the list... Ready to make some hell!"

Kata Ton... was a really great album, their best since Sanctus Diavolos imo. I hope songs are a bit more varied this time but if it's more of the same I won't complain either. Still listening to lots of tracks from "Kata"

I think Theogonia was the best after SV, vastly superior to their previous two albums, but Kata was an improvement already. So, I continue hopeful.

Kata Ton Daimona Eaytoy was pretty stale, so I don't really have high hopes for this one.

I thought "Kata Ton Daimona Eaytoy" was absolutely amazing, so I'm eager for this.

With RC could be an amazing album as well as it could be a very boring one, one never knows until it comes
Looking forward for it anyway =]

Sakis will be the man behind the production, let's see.

Didn't he also produce Aeola and Kata? What an abysmal productions those albums had.

From "Sanctus DIavolos" and over yeah. But from what I know, nowadays, he is doing the whole thing alone, past experience made him be able to trust his skills on this. But in my opinion, as you said, the two previous had a tremendous production!

Tremendously bad, yes, not good at all.
