Marge - Releases Debut Single Featuring Mattias Eklundh
Mononymous French singer Marge has released her first single, "Detached," a collaboration with Freak Kitchen mastermind Mattias "IA" Eklundh. The accompanying video was released on Marge's YouTube channel earlier today and can also be viewed below.
Marge has been performing covers on her channel for years, some impromptu and some professionally recorded, but "Detached" is a step forward as her first original work. The song was written and performed in partnership with Eklundh, a longtime musical inspiration and later friend of Marge's, and the video, shot in the US and Canada, was codirected by Marge and Jérémie Mazan, who also mixed the track.
Marge is a longtime Metal Storm user (alias FreakyMarge) and, once upon a time, contributed to our Hellfest roundup. You can check out her other MS contributions on her profile while listening to her recordings.
