Arch Enemy - New Song Online

The following message was posted on Century Media's website:

"Great news Arch Enemy fans as the band gives you a first insight of their upcoming full-length opus "Rise Of The Tyrant" set for release on September 24th, 2007! 'Blood On Your Hands', the crushing opening track has just been posted on the band's Century Media artist page for your listening pleasure - you can get there by clicking here. Or visit the band's MySpace page at www.myspace.com/archenemy."

Arch Enemy mastermind Michael Amott enthuses:
"I know there is a lot of excitement out there amongst the fans to hear this new album so we thought it would be cool to give you all a sneak preview. 'Blood On Your Hands' is the opening track on "Rise of The Tyrant" and kicks the album off with a huge bang!
It's a full-on, no holds barred slab of classic Arch Enemy where the whole band is going for it 110%! The song was a blast to write and record and now we are looking forward to playing it live! To me it captures all aspects of Arch Enemy perfectly with just about as much guitar as it's possible to cram into 4 and a half minutes? enjoy!"

Very good song indeed, I hope the album will be great!
"Doomsday Machine" wasn't so great in my opinion...

Didn't really like it, but then again, I don't like any of their stuff besides WoS.

Oh wow. This was surprising. Nothing groundbreaking, but much better then I expected.

What boring riffs... I don't like it.

Haha (mainly @Nerv) I just noticed something, it's quite similar to Dead Bury Their Dead - in fact it outright copies the chord progression in the middle - which so far is my favourite song on Wages, which was my least fav album I've heard from the band

Thats why I like the song and their new material, its similar to WoS. Which is a good thing, and not to mention sounds way more fresh then their last two "efforts".

I was expecting something closer to Anthems of Rebellion with the way Angela was talking about the album last month. But I like it. I reallly like it. But then again, can you really not like an Arch Enemy song? No, didn't think so.

This album "Rise Of The Tyrant" isn't good like "Doomsday Machine".
I think that Arch Enemy got to the highest level that they can get, like they showed in "Doomsday Machine"
But the point, that Arch can do this album more powerfall and brotal like before.
Still Arch is great band & i will still like they no Matter what...
