At this time I make covers by myself. Sometimes I make some kind'a Pop-songs to Rock. For example:
Allanah Myles - Lover Of Mine
Taylor Dayne - Love Will Lead You Back
Journey - Who's Cryin' Now (original wasn't too heavy )
e.t.c. And they are good ones!

Since when Britney is a metal singer? But anyway, this song played by Children of Bodom sounds very funny. I like it very much too

I would like to name two bands that always do GREAT covers! Atrocity and Graveworm and Norther.

Atrocity released an album entirey dedicated to covers they have made of pop songs from the 80's. It's called Werk 80. My favourite are:

- "Sound Of Silence" by Simon Und Garkunkel
- "Send Me An Angel" by Scorpions (not pop...but..)
- "Rage Hard" by Frankie Goes To Hollywood
- "The Great Commandment" by Camouflage

Graveworm have always had a great talent for covers... And sometimes I like their covers more than the song they write themselves . So far, they have done four covers. And most of them are great songs, almost as good, and sometimes even better than the original songs. Here they are:

- "Losing My Religion" by R.E.M.. This song actually became my favourite song by Graveworm. It is 10 times better than R.E.M.'s version. It sounds like a song they would have written themselves.

- "Fear Of The Dark" by Iron Maiden, the legendary song. As I am not a big fan of Iron Maiden, I prefer Graveworm's version, that is really different from Maiden's. Better, in my opinion.

- "I Need A Hero" by Bonnie Tyler. Quite unexpected from a Gothic Black band, but it works. It is not my favourite though.

I'd also like to mention Norther's covers, which I like a LOT:

-"Youth Gone Wild" by Skid Row. The first song by Norther I listened to. I am in love with Petri Lindroos since that day .

- "Final Countdown" by Europe. I LOVE this song!!!! I've always loved it. Europe looked so sexy with their hair... I think I saw the clip for the first time when I was 8 or 9... The hair obssession had already begun. That's why I loved the song. I still love it. Norther's version is even better.

Eternal Tears Of Sorrow - As I Die (Paradise Lost)
Agalloch - Kneel To The Cross (Sol Invictus)

Not Corpsegrinder, which is the actual singer, but it's Chris Barnes' band.

And covers ? So many in metal... but CoF made an excellent one of Sleepless (Anathema), really different.
In the same state of mind (classics revisited), Die Krupps covered Battery (Metallica), and Orphaned Land covered Mercy (Paradise Lost)

Death - Painkiller (Judas Priest)
Most covers of Priest/Maiden songs end up sounding completely cliched or just plain awful. This cover of Painkiller, however, is absolutely INCREDIBLE. They take the drum solo, and make it even MORE awesome. They make the solo even more gratuitous and beautiful, and Chuck really excels on this one. A great note to go out on.

Emperor - A Fine Day To Die (Bathory)
Again, this cover really gives the original a run for its money, in terms of sheer intensity and spite. Really evil, and Ihsahn sounds great, while not deviating too far from Quorthon's tortured shrieks.

Dissection - Antichrist (Slayer)
Another great cover...it just suits Dissection's sound around 'Stom...' so well, although I still think Slayer perform it better live (listen to Tom's 'Screams!' on 'Decade of Aggression'!)
