Even for a band with a history of album 'sequels', sticking 'II' on the end of your most celebrated album's title and making that the name of your new record is a bold move.

Yup, that's a daring move. Colors is one of the masterpieces in the genre, and although the rest of their output is quite cool, they've never quite managed to come close to that level of quality again. I don't know if I should be excited or worried. Ok, I'll be *a little* excited and we'll see.

If these guys get their act together and reach for the rafters we'll be in for a treat.

Super hyped for this. Colors isn't my favorite BTBAM album, but it's definitely one of their best.

The single is already better than 90% of the material on Colors so I'm excited for this. Seems to be on par with their more recent efforts, but slightly better than the Automata-duo.

The two lines kind of reminds me of the two lines on Reise Reise album art from Rammstein.

Making an album that's a sequel to a bands best album is a risky move and usually fails. This was not the case. This is as good as the first Colors album.

Wow...I think this could become my favorite album from them. Shit this is equally as good as Colors I.

Listening Monochrome/The Double Helix of Extinction and Human Is Hell I could realize that's probaly their second best album (Colors is my favorite yet)
I'm so glad to not see BTBAM falling in low-quality-stuff-production like other bands.

It's a successful sequel since it gives me the same headache that Colors did.

No, but really, the only album of theirs that ever clicked with me was Parallex 2. I'll need to give this another shot, perhaps not in one sitting though.

Woah, first time I saw a sequel album getting more praise comments than complaints.

I guess it's time to check out this sequel, then. Also the original one.

Gonna go out on a limb and say this is better than Colors I. It's got all the chaos and spastic genre shifts that the first one does, but with all the finesse and polish that their past few records have had. I love it and this probably just dethroned Parallax II as my favorite BTBAM record. Well done, boys. Might even be my album of the year too.

I think Parallax II is my favourite as well, but it's not *that* different from their Colours records?

You're probably right. I shouldn't be talking on the internet about albums I haven't listened to in years

Speaking of Colors, these guys need to re-release their older albums, they are out of print on Amazon.

Not as good as Colors (or even Parallax II) imo, but still a very good album, as always.

I like this way more than Colors.

The typical breaks they always do, here are more natural than there, which were absurdiy out of place. For example, in Ants Of The Sky. That break in the end which sounds like an irish pub gets me out of the song to the point I can't stand the song even if the rest is really good.

Here I find them more natural and the rest of the album seems heavier imo.

Haven't listened to previous BTBAM albums which makes me wonder what rock was I living under. This is wonderfully weird, varied, progressive, melodic and harsh at the same time. Human is Hell has a really good riff.

Bloody good album! Every single song has a unique characteristic to it and if you love off-beat signatures, this album is a Djent masterpiece.
