I think Jorn is the best choice. Although he's not my favorite voice but he gave Masterplan a unique sound, different from other PM bands... We'll see how this cover album turns out...

Yeah I'll steer clear of this one if Rick is the vocalist again, I have too many albums with him as vocalist (not to mention songs where he is guest vocalist lol) but I didn't realise then that I didnt really like his vocals, was just adding lots of stuff to my playlist LMAO. Will Google up to see if I can find out.

Exactly - BORING is the proper word to describe Rick's vocals. he totally ruined At Vance a few years ago, now he is doing the same to Masterplan too bad...

Always enjoy hearing different versions of these songs... especially some of these slightly more hidden great Helloween songs...
But I hate to have to agree... I feel this vocalist really detracts much more than he adds.

What the heck man this is not a Masterplan studio album! This is a "Helloween compilation/tribute". They should have put Helloween's logo on the front cover. This is NOT Masterplan! Now because of this Metalstorm have decided to remove the progressive genre that this band's profile originally possessed, they've decided that all of Masterplans work is nothing but plain Power Metal but it is not, Masterplan is a Progressive/Power Metal band. And it should be known to be progressive because it takes extra effort to produce music with progressive elements, let it be known!

I would have gladly listened to this had there been another vocalist.

The good songs are the ones that feature Andy Deris, mainly "Escalation 666" & "Time Of The Oath". The rest are not good or a disaster. "The Chance" is a total disaster.

This is the text book example of an incompetent vocalist ruining otherwise good music. I don't know how to otherwise put it.

I agree that Rick is definatly the lowpoint here, otherwise it would be a good compilation of Grapows time in Helloween. These versions are never better than the originals but while I usually stay away from albums with re-recorded songs this was actually a decent attempt.
