Hailing from France, The Great Old Ones set out to describe musically both the feeling contained in H.P. Lovecraft's writings and their interest for extreme music. Their debut album Al Azif, recorded by Cyrille Gachet (Year Of No Light) and mastered by Alan Douches (Tombs, Mastodon, The Dillinger Escape Plan?), is 52 minutes of intense, dark and atmospheric music.

Oh no Would be kinda weird if I were from the band and still tell you it's a very recommendable album.

Yeah I heard of this album a month or so back, and it's really damn good. Originality at it's best.
