This does not do anything for me. I get that it is heavy and crushing, but at the end I'm detached from the sound. For a crushing and abusive extreme metal album employing noise that actually works, check The Amenta- NoN. Edit: I guess I was initially too harsh. Upon further listening, this does sound good.

Written by mz on 01.12.2021 at 17:30 +1 This. Following the hype with its fusion of genres I initially went in expecting another take on Hatred For Mankind, but I enjoy it for what it is. Do low-key wish that 666 monologue on the last Blantedillluvian was on this as it would fit perfectly, it comes to mind whenever thinking of this, probably due to the linguistically thoughtful opening ambients title.
