Well, the girls from Mares of Thrace doesn't seem to wear that much make up, at least not on the first picture. they are just kind of pale.
Compared to what you are describing (there are TONS of metal chicks like that) I think their normal look is a nice change. They look like a nice girl you can see on the street but they play sludge metal... I dig the fact that they don't need to prove you anything. They also look far from being "disney".

I like any sort of metal or non metal girl as long as they don't look plastic.
