I have to say that what really highlight from tales along this road is the accordion played by Juho Kauppinen, I still think that the voice from Jonne Järvelä at least n Korpiklaani is not as flokish as I want he sang better in Jaktens tid with Finntroll, but when the voice is complemented with the voices of the other members of the band it sounds great especially in the last album...

The next time I am at a bonfire or am just drunk in general, I will bring this Cd along... I'd say "Tales from this Road" is more entertaining than "masterful" if that makes sense, but hell, jumping around a fire with a full glass of beer singing "Happy Little Boozer" ... haha. I'm usually not one for this kind of music, which is likely why I enjoy the track "Tuli Kokko" on a musical level the most; it's the least happy and is more dramatic. Korpiklaani must be enjoyable live, but in the US I'll never have a chance to experience it I am sure!

I just got the new album "Tales Along This Road." I agree with you all, it's SO MUCH FUN. Time to bang your head!! I was listening last night while cooking dinner and just bopping around the kitchen, lol. Not a bad song on it, although "Happy Little Boozer" is a little TOO catchy

Korpiklaani is right up there with Skyclad for me. I mean, what's not to like about a song that goes "there are men underground who have never seen the sun but they really know how to party!" If all else fails, Korpiklaani makes great drinking music.

I went to a korpiklaani concert yesterday and it was absolutely great... The whole club of about 300 people was dancing, moshing and banging. Their music is just too catchy to stand still. I was really sad that they do only have a relatively short set of just 1.5hrs, but they played almost all songs from their newest album which really pleased me because it was the only one I owned until today and so I could also sing along. I think that Jonne's singing is not really that good, but I especially like the humppa music in it and it's got just the right speed to jump and dance. The only thing that I regret about going to the gig was, that I will have happy little boozer in my head for the next week or two even though I didn't drink (had to drive), it's really awesome party music and I'd take their cds as a "soundtrack for drinking parties" and I had much more fun at the concert than on any other I've been to.

So I just bought my first 2 Korpiklaani albums today, 'Spirit Of The Forest' and 'Tales Along This Road', and I must say I absolutely love the music, but the vocals are going to take a while for me to get used to, im dont like the vocals very much at this point.
