Account deleted Written by In Chaos on 28.08.2007 at 12:44 Theres alot of speculation over that cover and from what I heard another band covered it and when it didnt take it of they just uploaded under Children Of Bodom and suddenly it was huge. There is also The final Countdown that is apperntly covered by them. They have defiantly Covered Britney Spears though.

I like Metallica's cover of Last Caress. I like the way James sings the song, it has a lot of energy going. Btw. Didn't Children of Bodom cover Iron Maiden's Aces High? I haven't heard of any The Trooper cover?

I've just listened one song from Faith No More, it's called "From Out Of Nowhere". Raunchy made a cover of that song, and i think that they did a good job (the cover song is quite catchy).

Hahaha, oh man. I remember hearing Sonata Arctica's cover of "I Want Out". That was pretty cool. What was real funny was Graveworm's cover of R.E.M's "Losing My Religion". rofl.

Cannibal corpse - no remorse & zero the hero. And no it's not Cob who covered the trooper, someone just absent mindedly typed it in insted of norther when he uploaded it into a p2p program, and the falsely named copy has spread to most computers.

CoB NEVER covered The Trooper. It was in fact Sentenced during their melodeath era. Has anyone heard of Northern Kings? It's a project featuring Tony Kakko of Sonata Arctica, Marco Hietala of Nightwish/Tarot, J Ahola of Teräsbetoni and JP Leppäluoto of Charon. They have a covers album of 80's pop songs out at the end of October, and it sounds rather promising: www.myspace.com/northernkings

12.10.2007 - 22:53 Written by baldur on 28.08.2007 at 19:47 Finally found this guy, my friend told me about him and I just couldn't remember his name. He's like the opposite of Ten Masked Man, while he uses the bluesy, lounge singer approach to cover songs like "Rape Me" or "People Equal Shit" lol which is the best even though I don't care for Slipknot and TMM do Death Metal covers of songs like "Play That Funky Music" & "I'm Blue" both priceless IMO.

I like Reverend Bizarre's cover of Burzum's Dunkelheit. I think they also did a cover for Beherit's The Gate of Nanna though I haven't heard that one (the cover, that is).
