Groove metal is not my genre but still this album have few memorable tracks especially Iconoclast which is my favorite from this album.

In the beginning I was made of clay. Then I bit the apple and they changed me to metal 🤘

Meeh, lyrics are bad, music is average. Nothing really stands out. Disappointing release.

I'm sorry, but after their 2011-2017 run of albums were you really expecting something good? Not sure if disappointing is a fitting word here.

I actually liked Carnival Is Forever and Anticult, never listened to Blood Mantra but these two records aren't bad at all (Carnival being considerably better than Anticult). Of course, none of these post 2007 albums come close to the first three in terms of quality.
That said, I had certain expectations for Cancer Culture. The first single sounded promising so I hoped it would be equal if not better than Anticult. Unfortunately, this turned out not to be the case.

Embarrassing title, the only people who whine this much about cancel culture are people who have something to hide. Though besides the title track I don't think the lyrics are that cringeworthy overall

this band hasn't been putting out any good music in over a decade so I'm not sure why I even bothered to listen, garbage title aside this is just more below average groove metal

Bro, calm down! This sounds like from Stalin's or Goebbels's politburo. You don't like examination of body cavities, because you're hiding something!

I agree that the "if you've got nothing to hide you've got nothing to fear" viewpoint is dangerous, but I am on board with him that the title is rather cringe.

I actually had a long discussion about "the case" with various people the other day and am now leaning a lot more in their favour than this time a week ago, but when I saw that album title at the time it did not help my opinion of them! As others have mentioned, it sounds less like hitting back at society and more like a teenager complaining because they got detention for shouting the N word in the playground and think being told off for doing so is a violation of their free speech
