What a difficult thing it is to review an album as controversial (in many ways) as "God Hates Us All" by the thrash gods, Slayer. Some people love it, others hate it. One thing is for sure: everybody has some sort of opinion on it. There are various arguments flying around concerning the quality of this album. Some people say that Slayer hung out with the nu-metal crowd too much, others that they aren't fast anymore... But come on guys, they are still Slayer!!!!! This album still rocks more than most other albums of 2001, even if it isn't the best Slayer album ever!

I just started my luthier shop and this album was pretty much the only thing I listened to for 3 days. Talk about motivating music. I bumped it from an 8 to a 9 in my ratings.

What a polarizing thread for such a mediocre album. Who knew it would elicit such intense reactions.

The first minute and thirty seconds of disciple are so great... Then they ruin it.

The timing on the release date is insane! Not one of their best albums IMO, 'Disciple' is a great song though. I listened to that whilst wandering around Vatican City a few years ago (including the Sistine Chapel) - probably the most metal thing I've ever done

not as weird as this Dream Theater live album released on the same day (they changed the cover later, such a weird coincidence).

Idk how people see this as a comeback, I see this as a continuation of groove metal slayer and I do not like groove metal. This is the wrong kind of pissed off, the best of Slayer was the good kind of pissed off mixed with evil.
