Same band as one of the above, but different album. My favourite has to be Municipal Waste - The Art Of Partying. Absolutely cracking album.

My fav of recent thrash? Probably Back To The noose by Swashbuckle. Although Mortillery's Origin Of Extinction would be in my top three.

Out of the choices I would say Hazardous Mutation by Municipal Waste, or anything by them really. They got some kick ass crossover.

... Hi.
Very interesting choices up there, though...
For me it would be a battle between
1. The Art Of Partying - Municipal Waste / 2007
2. Being And Nothingness - Hexen / 2012
and
3. Black Future - Vektor / 2009
very hard to chose between these 3 .. so I'll let it at that and vote in Other.
Also I'm very surprised that *Forever Abomination* was your choice for Skeletonwitch
I would've seen *Beyond The Permafrost* and *Breathing The Fire* way before this one.

If I had to pick one, I'd say Experiment Of Existence by Ripper. It's pretty basic blackened thrash, but it's so intense I don't even care. Other than that maybe all albums of Vektor, I could pick any of them.

You've got a lot of guts. Let's see what they look like!

I haven't listened to everything on that list, but Havok Time Is Up is one of the things that made me want to listen to thrash metal again!

As a Bay Area native I'm definitely enjoying the neo-thrash movement that kinda started in the early 2000's and is still thriving today. Bands like Sylosis, Carnal Forge, Corporation 187, Warbringer and EXA are writing great thrash and enjoying all the benefits of modern production. However there's one band and one album that stands out above the rest for me. Darkane's 2002 technical thrash masterpiece, Expanding Senses, has timeless appeal and goes toe-to-toe against other thrash masterpieces, past and present.

Yeah, i love all them from 2007-2013, probably currently Beyond The Permafrost would be my favorite, but hard to decide hehe.

Yep, definitely Toxic Holocaust deserves to be in the list, i like much more than Municipal Waste for example, even currently is one of my favorite bands of all time
By the way, some time ago I was interested in Legion of the Damned and I listened to some of their songs ... that album sounds very good, I will return to them and maybe i buy something.
Cruel Force was a shame they was disbanded, sounds good.
