I never liked Dimmu... In the contrary, i liike CoF very much...!

I dont like these two bands. But the cd of dimmu borgir with the symphonic orchest of prague was good.

I didn't really want to vote either, but out of the two I had to put Dimmu Borgir. I don't think they've sold out at all, the just put out an album that wasn't quite up to par with their previous ones. I enjoyed a couple of songs from Death Cult, but not as much as Enthrone Darkness Triumphant. As for Cradle of Filth, I think they're getting progressively better. I've always enjoyed their music, just Dani Filth's voice kills me everytime. Sometimes his voice actually sounds good, but a lot of the time it's just annoying to me.

I agree 100% .

i prefer Dimmu Borgir...all dimmu is great...and their most recent album destroys the last couple of COF albums...Cradle fell off...Dani filth and co. seems more concerned about Molesting 14 yr old mallgoth girls behind their tourbus at Ozzfest than writing good music...which is sad because Cradle of filth used to be amazing...and were at their Peak with "Midian"....

I choosed COF but I think that Dani's voice simply sucks. I just love their atmosphere.

my choice was CoF. Dani's voice is great I think and so is the atmosphere of the songs.

No way... DIMMU BORGIR... Dani is falled too much in the commercial success...

I always prefered Dimmu Over COF, They're just better, But COF's still good.

Dimmu Borgir are way better then Cradle of Filth without a dought, Cradle of Filth sold out and sucked ass from the very start when they decided Dani filth would be their vocalist, but Dimmu Borgir, were actually an amazing band at first, one of the best black metal bands of that time with Stormblast, Enthroned Darkness Triumphant, and For All Tid, those were masterpieces and were amazing, and then sucked shit and sold out, but were masters of their art at the beggining of their career, unlike Cradle of Filth.

Why do people put so much effort in not listening to "sellouts"? It's just stupid. Just because they sell a lot of their CD's they're bad? You who think this way really need to rethink. Even though they're "sellouts", as you want to call them, they can be great. In matter of fact these 2 bands is great.

Totaly agree with you ! Sellouts or not, both band are most amazing one I ever heard, and "true non-sellout black metal" band like Mayhem is a piece of crap. Black metal should and must have a nice atmosphere... Mayhem only seem like dark gay punk talking about satan... What a waste of talent...

Since I've seen Dimmu Borgir's live, I have to admit I prefer their music more than Cradle Of Filth's.

They are NOT sellouts. I just can't imagine these bands changing their style just to make more money. Their music just evolves over time wether you like or not.

And no, I don't get pisses off because cradle of dimmu "MAY" be commercial, I get pisses off because people say they don't like them only for that... You can hate Dani for the voice, you can hate the atmospher (can you really do ??) but you can't hate them because they make more money than shitty real true black metal band... I enjoy black metal melodic... I hate black metal talk about satan and playing some power chords over it... Siebenbürgen was a non-commercial band like Summoning, and I love their music because it is enjoyable, screaming and power chording is kind really gay.

Yeah I agree both are kinda sellouts. But hey, so has been Metallica one time or two, but I've still liked everyone of their records so far. And I also like these two. Maybe CoF abit more..

How are Dimmu Borgir sellouts? Because their lyrics aren't in Norwegian? Because they don't record their albums on answering machines anymore? Dimmu Borgir is still fast, heavy, and creative. They still use keyboards and are even exploring symphonic sounds more than they used to.

Cradle of Filth, simply because I listen more to them. Dani Filth has an amazing voice and the choirs and orchestras they have in some songs are so damn perfect!

I saw DB on Metal camp, and I almost fell asleep. I really thought that they are going to made a big show, that it's going to be a concert of a day but...oh well.
I love Danni's voice and I'm sure that i'm not going to change my mind.

Mmmm I'm agree with u in the part u talk about selling-out but I think u shouldn't vote If u just have listened few songs in a metal camp... I mean get a couple of cds then judge or vote =)
