For the poll I picked who I thought would be the more popular choices, I'm sure we'll get alot of "others" though.
Anyways, this was a hard one for me. Black Metal vocals are probably my favorite type of vocals in all it's different styles...but overall my favorite is probably Nocturno Culto. Absolutely countless vocalists have modeled themselves ater him and for good reason. He's the spokesboy of BM vocals and has a truly chilling sound to his voice. Attila was a close second for me, he has one hell of a creepy voice too. Varg as well. Who's yours??

I voted for Burzum. His voice is so depressed, melancholic. I also like Shagrath though the Burzum voice is more creepy in my opinion, and each voice is very fit to their music then creating many good songs to hear:)

for me either Olli Mustonen from Catamenia, his shrieks are solid and consistant, Helmuth from Belphegor because he can easily transfer from black to death alot, or Thebon from Keep Of Kalessin, for the same reason as Helmuth, hes got alot of variation and stylings he can transfer between.

But on live shows he's really good!

I admire most of them too. Grutle from Enslaved is great too, and seems to be a cool guy...but I'd go for Atilla in the end, he isn't just a vocalist, he's a mad artist.

I like most of the vocalists as well. It might sound like a strange choice, but one of my favorite Black Metal vocalists is Hupogrammos Disciple's. You know, the vocalist from Negura Bunget. He is really good.

Atm I would say Neige (especialy for is works on Amesoeurs and Mortifera) or Famine (Peste Noire). Is vocals were absolutely perfect on La Sanie des Sciecles. To bad it sucked on Folkfuck Folie.
