Do you people actually think this is gonna suck? They have put out quality material ever since their inception.

I think it will suck. They've only ever released one decent album, and that was almost 10 years ago. Dark Adrenaline was awful, and I think Lacuna Coil are the only band to have released such a terrible cover of an REM song.

I could disagree about most of the things you wrote and I seriously don't believe this album will suck. Though the turn towards more pop-like sort of gothic metal has affected the quality (even though it's not as shitty as Within Temptation), Lacuna Coil is still enjoyable. And honestly, you are 100% right in one thing - the REM cover is one of the worst things I have ever heard.

Does anyone hear that promised Cinematic sound? Cause I can't spot it.

It's quite bad.

Heavier approach, even some growls, but it's a filler after filler. So far none of the songs have managed to impress me (even Karmacode, Shallow Life and Dark Adrenaline had some shiny momets). I will however give this album some more tries and see if it will crawl under my skin. But overall, I'm disappointed. I suppose I'm gonna be stuck in the In A Reverie/Unleashed Memories/Comalies world forever.

I couldn't agree more with you. Just listened to the album, it is really worth it.

The album does not suck. But many songs are quite boring, as opposed to Dark Adrenaline. Not all of them, of course, Nothing Stands In Our Way is a catchy one.

This album is the true definition of mediocre
No effort has been put to make it stand out from their past ones
But it's not bad either

I won't even rate this one, not interesting at all...

I'm not sure what to think of this album. What I've heard so far (but that was not too much ) I quite like it, but as with the previous 3 albums it's missing power. To me it seems that they produce their songs just to play them live. If you compare their studio recordings with their live performances, there is a big difference, especially in terms of power. While I can't get into Karmacode for example, I really enjoyed the live performance I saw, where they played some of the songs of this album.

Not my band never was, but thay still can , can play s they did before, good (not my type)

These guys have just been riding the average train for the past 10 years or so. Nothing they've done has been bad, but it's all just been a big bowl of "eeeeeh...."

Almost completely uninteresting, but hardly bad music.

I actually like this. I didn't think I would but I love the variety they show. Maybe I'll get bored of it, but for now, I really do like it.

Every song feels like it was rushed and there was just almost no effort into it. I've listened to Broken Crown Halo 3 times already and I honestly dont recall a single moment from it.

Horrible.

I liked them...grow up with them. Songs are nice ( from last 4-5 albums the are same after 10 listening to CD) catchy, but sound is so compressed that on goooood speakers great blues or pop music sound more clear than Lacuna Coil...sssssshhhhhhhhhhshhhhhhhhuuuoppppapppapppa. Yes i am jealous am not lacuna coil guitarist.

Well, I haven't found anything inspiring from them for about a decade. Lacuna Coil used to be part of teenager memory but, like many other bands, now only symbols mediocre. The tracks are actually not that bad but somehow I just can't enjoy them.

Not so very good just "7.6".

Well, at least it's better than "Siren Charms", right?
