It was already recorded before they broke up?

The new album was originally released in March with a very basic digipack (no booklet, apparently) in VERY limited quantities, which at the time of posting have dried up. I have a contact who pre-ordered and was lucky enough to get one, so she's burnt me a copy... at the moment, I'm afraid it's download only, otherwise.

The first two albums can be picked up as a twofer through Amazon at a bargain price, and they are well worth it... surprisingly high quality, slightly quirky, melodic prog metal with a superb vocalist and some memorable tunes. Most people who give Pantommind a listen are very surprised by how good they are, considering they have had such a low profile.

Anyway, congrats to MS for finally adding the band into their hall of fame; it's greatly appreciated!

First gig was Manowar (loincloths 'n' all), Bristol Colston Hall in March 1983, on the 'Hail to England' tour. Tickets were £3.75, 300 in the audience, Mercyful Fate never showed, but my hearing still got seriously trashed..

Edit: This album is really quite fabulous, overall it might very slightly be their best, but I'm not sure I can quite give it the full '10'.

the CD is now available on Amazon, albeit at £15.99 at present... one way or anther though, I know I'll have to make the purchase.

They had this one recorded already in 2013 (some songs date back even to 2010), no idea why it came out so late, in 2015. Don't know about the "hiatus" status, I guess they were just working on the new album.

This is a top-notch prog. Extremely underrated band, all three albums are fantastic.

Yeah I bought them at Amazon and they were cheap.

Give them a staff pick!

Yeah there is no evidence for being formally on hiatus on their website. Just once per year "updates" since 2010.
