Hi all,
First I need to state why I have this poll for albums after "The Eye":
There was a period of 5 years without releasing anything from 1990 until 1995 so as to concentrate in his "mercyful fates"
The band was consolidated and achieved a great peak, prime time with their albums until The Eye. So, it was not necessary at all to achieved fame, but to maintain themselves in it.
That is why I would like to know your opinion. IMO his work has not been so great as from 1986-1990. However, there are many interesting songs and albums such as PUPPET MASTER. My vote goes for that one.
Personally, I acquired The Spider's Lullabye and Voodoo two years ago so that I will catch up with King -as he was playing shortly in Madrid and I did not have any other album from him after "They Eye"- and the remaining 5 albums just a few months ago -when I got connected-. Now I can,t distinguish well between all this "brainstorm" of ghost and music, so this is another reason why I would like to know your opinion.
Bye metalstormers,
Ross

All of them are good, voted for House of God, has a lot of emotion and differs a bit from the rest because it is not that much of a horror story. 2nd Would the graveyard be probably, they really captured atmosphere on that album, especially like the song 'Up From The Grave'

Actually not a ingle one. I find that King Diamond went immensely downhill after The Eye

The Graveyard is a good album, Voodoo is also not bad, House of God wasn't bad either, the last two have also been fairly good too. Give me Your Soul... Please is a very good album. For me, Thr Graveyard is probably the best of the ones mentioned, but Give Me Your Soul...Please and Puppet Master are not far behind.

I want to hear more opinions on this poll. In the meantime, I still need to hear Abigail II and Give Me Your Soul.

Imo, the only album that is not so bad is "The Spider's Lullaby".

Voodoo. Voodoo. VOODOO!
That's one I'm considering. It's extremely tough for me.

It's also the last really great vocal performance from him. The ones afterwards are still great, just not as awsome as he was on Voodoo, although House Of God wasn't much behind.

I hate this album because it's not (like all KD albums) full concept album...for me worst KD stuff

Imo, it's a nice change from getting the similar concept over and over. KD repeats himself way too much.
