Anyone else here fans of Kid Rock? i call myself a fan simply because i think he is a marketing genius. i mean, come on, he made "Devil Without a Cause" go SEVEN TIMES PLATINUM. i dont care what genre of music someone plays, if they go SEVEN TIMES PLATINUM, theyre a legitimate musical entity. granted his latest releases have been awful, but consider the fact that most metal bands dont even go gold . opinions?

I guess so...while my side of the fence says that it's just a blatent rip-off of every classic rock song there is and that there is no originality, the other side of the fence praises him for "trying to create new classic rock" and saying that his latest album is a "soundtrack of choice for jukeboxes and pickup trucks across the country" in the US at least...Kid Rock is a follower and not a leader...people like that should ultimately be shunned from the music industry because they aren't moving forward, only backward...

Yeah, my province is probably more "American" than a lot of American states, so any over-zealous American pride he has could probably apply to us, by us I mean the hicks in my province. Then again, Hillary Duff also sold out that same venue, I think Albertans will lap up anything that goes to the Saddledome. It could also be because theres a fued between our city and the city just north of us (Edmonton) and everyone loves it when the band says "You guys are way more awesome than Edmonton!". Its pretty funny how dumb my city is.

You misunderstood. I said they toured with NO original members. Also original founder mick Jones is in and out of the band and concerts because of health problems.

Two original members?! I doubt that. Even the last studio album they did only had guitarist Mick Jones.
Just looked at the wiki-page for Foreigner - current line-up - only Mick Jones is the original member. So I don't know where you read that there are two original members. When Lou Gramm left, Mick Jones was the only founder left in the band.
