Well, my favorite mercyful fate song is a short instrumental on Don't Break the Oath, titled "To One Far Away". It's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard in my life.

I voted for nuns have no fun. the chorus is brilliant.

My favourite is actually "burning the cross". the solo's are some of the best i've heard.

...but it is really hard to choose, Mercyful Fate has so many great songs!!

So hard to choose, I will simply go for 'Evil' as this was the first MF song I ever heard and somehow opened new paths in metal for me...:metal:

That song is just a sad third rate copy of the far superior original Melissa. Nothing after Don't Break The Oath even comes close to the demos, ep, and first two full-lengths.

You don't have Satan's Fall up there, but if I had to choose from your options I'd go with Gypsy.

Desecration Of Souls.

Of this list "A corpse without soul" it is a very good and very catchy song. But my favorite MF song must be "The Curse of the Pharoah's" I love Hank's guitar work on this track, and King is also very good on this track too.

Out of the choices in the poll, I picked "A Dangerous Meeting." But I also really love "The Oath," "Desecration of Souls," "Princess of Hell" and "Is That You Melissa."

The meeting is the best. Black Funeral is good too though.

"Evil" is pretty damn awesome.

Come to the Sabbath is one of my favorites, but Desecration of Souls is amazing as well.

Imo a dangerous meeting is MF staple song. its totally what MF is and is ment to be. \m/

Yeah, this is true for me too.

Honestly for me my favorite is Witches Dance. I like the lyrics, and in the guitar part before "Just like a demon's eye" I always end up getting goosebumps. As far as the ones listed, I'd say "Come to the Sabbath" because, well I just like it. I'm not sure why at all. I also like being able to sing along with what I listen to, and although my voice sucks I'm alright with hitting the high notes, so I really enjoy Mercyful Fate.
