I mean that considering the talent of the members on the album it should have been better =P I might not have worded that right actually. Looking at it hurts my noggin

The album has those moments that stands out like in Decaying Observer but most of the time it is just your usual fuzzy BM

The Benighted
They went out and did something extremely interesting with the Black Metal formula, and it paid off in spades. I wish more BM bands were willing to think outside of the genre's rather limited scope. It'd make for better listening, definitely.

Much better than the debut. The influences from each member's bands is more balanced. There is a much cleasrer vision throughout the record. I hear more hints of Nachtmystium on this but still a lot of the bass and drums from Leviathan plus some post-metal too. Cool stuff. Guess I'm not throwing away the compilation I have after all.
