Only 6 in rating?!

oh well, I've always had a soft spot for this album. This album needs to be listened bearing in mind that it was mid 80s and in those godawful 80s you had to be catchier if you wanted to sell albums. A lot of 70s bands messed up really bad to sell albums in the 80s, the examples are many. I don't think UFO sold out with this album. I think it's a more than decent effort.

IMO it's overrated.

To me it sounds almost like a copy of all the other rock albums from this era. This same style in keyboards and drums is in every damn album I hear, also the production is the standardized one from this time with fake drum sound, all these "love" themed songs are basically one same song with different name without any drastic difference to them in lyrics or songwriting. This whole 80s phenomenon I find to be a massive tradegy which made almost all bands that had some kind of character or individuality to become clones of each other, and what they were copying wasn't even anything good. I don't hear anything left from the sound that UFO had that made them great as a band.
