An album filled with various moods: at times insane and seemingly frantic (helped by some very well handled guitar solos), and at others relaxing and beautiful. What King Crimson have usually done so well on previous albums is here in spades; that is, trying to sound completely and utterly different to anything else that could be called music. 'Starless and Bible Black' is one hell of a good 70's Progressive rock album.

The Night Watch must be the best King Crimson song

Starts strong with The Great Deceiver and then there's The Night Watch which has likely been my favorite King Crimson song throughout the years. The other songs don't do so much for me and the last four songs are a streak of forgettability.

Weird for you to think that of "Fracture".

True, because someone wrote on youtube, that Fracture was the best song on SaBB, which I couldn't quite see myself. Nowadays I rarely find any of these longer songs such, that I wouldn't want to skip some parts from them or edit the song
