Helloween have announced that they will headline this year's Loud Park festival. The festival is scheduled for October 27th, 2012 in Tokyo, Japan.

The band posted this message on their official website: "After being busy with writing and recording our new songs for the last couple of months, this fall a long-awaited live performance will take place: For the first time we will play at the legendary Loud Park Festival in Tokyo, Japan! October 27th, we'll be co-headlining this event, which has become the most important metal event in Asia!"

"Throughout our whole career, performing in Japan has always been (...and still is!) something very special for us - connected with best memories and the strong and persistent support of our great Japanese fans. So we're especially happy and eager to play in Japan the first show after our long stay in the studio."

"With the confirmation of the Loud Park Festival we'll make it to two continents this year: Asia & Europe. As previously announced, our show at the Knock Out Festival in Karlsruhe, Germany, December 15th will be our only European show, Loud Park Festival will be our only live appearance in Asia in 2012! Armed with our brand new album, we'll be on the road again beginning of 2013 for an extensive World tour - we hope to see you there again!"
