Fog in the ravine fog in the valley Fog in the ravine fog in the valley Nothing is seen through the fog Save for one green oak. There was a well under the oak A maiden took water from there She let the golden bucket slip from her hand And broke the heart of a Cossak. The one who'll retrieve the bucket Will marry me The Cossak responded with fervor The Cossak responded with fervor I'll retrieve this bucket I'll retrieve the bucket And marry you And marry you That's it not polished of course quite rough i would say if you need more just send a PM

Sorry for the mix up of language. I guess one should never asume something based from the origin of the band... @kvlt: Thank you so much for the translation! Is this song orginaly a folk song? It seem so based one the structure and the lyrics...

@Torelli: I think so although I've never heard it. There are a lot of such songs in Ukrainian culture that's why it is quite difficult to know them all. It may as well be a song of a wandering bard we call them "Kobzars" in Ukraine. Anyway I think it is possible to trace the roots of the song if you need it of course.

Okay, I have two parts I want translated if possible: 1. Et vidi de mare bestiam ascendentem. Habentem capita septem et cornua decem. Et super cornua eius decem diademata et super capita eius nomina blasphemiae. 2. Absoluter Höllenzwang. Mein infernaler Opfergang. Ein auferstanden Ungetier. Festgenagelt tief in mir. Ich allein bin mein. Ein nichts. Verdorben mein Name. Mein Leid mein Reich. Mein Wille mein Fluch. Über mich und außer mir. Täglich hungert mein Leib. Und dürstet meine Seele aufs Neue. Ich trage die Schuld. Wie ich ertrage die Beschuldigungen. Ich bin in Versuchung. Und kenne keine Erlösung. Denn mein ist das Leid. Die Wut. Und das Streben. Bis zum Tod. Amen.

28.02.2008 - 21:40 Written by Warman on 28.02.2008 at 17:35 And I've seen a beast rising from the sea having seven heads and ten horns. And above her horns were ten diadems and above her heads were the names of blasphemy. In fact it's a verse from Bible...from the Book Of Revelations.....the original translation is here... The author, John, writes, "I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads." And I'll leave the German text for K7 to translate....

//Alright, this Darkthrone song has really prompted me to ask for a immediate translation. This song is so eerie and dark. that i absolutely need to figure out what the fuck they are trying to say.

31.05.2008 - 11:45 Written by Metal_Militia on 31.05.2008 at 07:34 The lyrics is taken form a poem by the norweigan author Tarjei Vesaas, the translation goes something like this: Snow and Spruce Forest Talk about what home is snow and spruce forest is home From the very start it is ours Before anyone has told us that it is snow and spruce forest, it has its place in us and then it is there the whole, whole time Waist-high drift around dark trees it's here for us mixed into our own breath the whole, whole time Though no one sees it, we have snow and spruce forest with us yes, the hill under snow, and tree upon tree as far as you gaze, wherever we are we find ourselves facing this and have in us a promise about coming home, coming home, going out there bending branches and feeling so it flares in you what it is to be where you belong the whole, whole time until it is put out in our inland hearts

01.06.2008 - 13:57 Written by Metal_Militia on 31.05.2008 at 17:35 Yeah, it kind of loses it "grimness" when translated, but being a swede, norwegian doesn't sound so grim either.

i even don't know what is the language of this lyrics...? (Exorcízó te, immundíssime spíritus, omnis incúrsio adversárii, omne phantásma, omnis legio: in nómine Dómini nostri (Jesu Christi) eradicáre, et effugáre ab hoc plásmate Dei. Ipse tibi ímperat, qui te de supérnis coelórum in inferióra terrae demérgi praecépit. Ipse tibi ímperat, qui mari, ventis, et tempestátibus imperávit.) maybe it's Italian. it's the intro of Marduk's great song called Accuser, Opposer..

02.06.2008 - 19:51 Written by Hamird on 02.06.2008 at 15:14 Did you write the lyrics down or did you write them according to listening? Anyway....it's LAAATIIIN So.... I exorcise thee, most vile spirit, every onslaught of the enemy, every apparition, every legion, to uproot thyself in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and to flee hence from the voice of God. It is he himself who commands thee, he who ordered thee to fall from the heights of the heavens to the depths of the earth. It is he himself who commands thee, he who rules the sea, the winds, and the tempests. I didn't had the time to look it all up in the dictionary, therefore I provided a copy-paste of an already existing translation from this exorcism verse....

First of all, I have to say:"Sorry for my double post." Otherwise... Here's the translation of those German lyrics: Endless Curve The first scene is playing in a blinding light The sequences swap fastly and constantly Again and again the same chapter Again and again the same picture Again and again the same action This film never ends Never does this play end The end puts the beginning into practice It runs in an endless curve Begins constantly from the new Is there perhaps no end? No final end? If we saw everything for a second time, how would we escape? The last moment, it does appear yet again Everything repeats itself, the death will turn into eternity I'm staying silent next to myself, staring at my body Cannot control a thing any more, I am only the ghost of mine Again and again the same chapter Again and again the same picture Again and again the same action This film never ends It runs in an endless curve constantly in front of us The long desireful end puts the beginning into practice It runs, it runs, it runs endless... P.S. @Keyser Söze: Hope I've been helpful to you.Well, it wasn't only me translating-some dictionaries also helped. Anyway, I'm glad that I both could and have helped you, and I'm also proud of myself! By the way, I find these lyrics wonderful!
