Cradle Of Filth - To Begin Writing New Material, Live Videos Online

In their last tour recap, Cradle Of Filth revealed that they will soon begin writing material for a new album to follow The Manticore And Other Horrors. The band concluded a tour in Europe with Behemoth, In Solitude, Inquisition and Svarttjern. Furthermore, the band also documented and shared two live videos for you to enjoy. The first one features the band performing "Beneath The Howling Stars" (from Cruelty And The Beast) and also "Haunted Shores" from their Dusk... And Her Embrace opus. Enjoy!

The band posted this message: "Greetings Filthlings, the European tour was a massive success and decidedly awesome to slay the least! Hence this quick post to thank everyone for coming out in support of the band... You 'orrible lot were great and certainly pepped up our performances! So thank you all once again from the bottom of our filthy hearts (or indeed the heart of our filthy bottoms!) and see you all later in the year! More dates pending...

"Plus, we will begin to write the new album shortly, which promises to be an absolute blinder, enflamed as we are from playing an Old Skool set for the last nineteen shows!"

Both songs were filmed at their show in Tilburg, The Netherlands:

You're wrong.

People have lost hope after "Cruelty And The Beast".

Nope, oddly (or not) I can enjoy all CoF albums I have from "Dusk and Her Embrace" till "Darkly Darkly Venus Aversa" in spite of the lastest albums not being so filthy anymore but with "Manticore and Other Horrors" I truly cannot get into it and that makes me think it's time for me to find about new bands. I could also mention, tho this is out of topic, that I couldn't get into "The Satanist" by Behemoth. I don't mind bands producing lighter or different albums but I need to "get into it". Hard to explain, just that I can enjoy or not an album

It's not of you're old or young listener who fantasied Dani in dreams.

It's simply because of music. Nymphetamine was extremely weak with title track waved enormously. Thornography below even "extremely average", not even single track try to opened up my eyes and enjoyment. Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder - well, decent but again poorly delivered. Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa - rip off of Godspeed. Nothing major. The Manticore And Other Horrors - better than last two records tbh.

It doesnt mean i'll stop listening to them. Now new record to come out, if not others, I'll be the one who checking it out.

Personally I've enjoyed all their releases up to the last 2, which Arent terrible but just extremely boring imo. So I got some hope for this but bit holding my breath. It seems they've just been going through the motions the past several years rather than making anything truly special.

I never liked that album. It is overrated from the very beginning.

This band needs a new Solid line up. Everything after 'GodSpeed' has been blah. Dani's vocals get old really fast. This band needs to bring the 'Filth' back. No high hopes unfortunately ......
