The Engine Room is a great place for clubs and gigs. Licensed till 2am, we cater mainly for the rock and alternative markets. The venue is centrally located in Brighton, right on the seafront and is easily accessed by public transport. Décor-wise, the club has an underground feel and is spacious, yet intimate.

Every Friday Deviant Top: alternative rock night drink promos, guest DJs, boys in make-up and girls in PVC. 11pm-3am £5/£4
1st Saturday Ooky Ook: 50's/60's/RnR/Garrage/Alte madness for glamorous girls and boys. 11pm-3am £5
2nd Saturday Punk Rock Karaoke: Your chance of fame and fortune! Sing all your favourite Rock and Punk anthems with our house band. 11pm-3am £5
3rd Saturday Classic Rock: Classic rock and metal night - AC/DC to Zeppelin and more. 11pm-3am. £5
4th Saturday Crash vs Lowlife: A party mix of Rock/Goth/Indie/Punk/Alt. 11pm-3am £5
5th Saturday (where relevant) The Brighton Rumble: Rock n' roll club action from Lucky Phil and the boys. 11pm-4am £5

Yeah it's the Ammos Nightclub now. Never went there when it was the Engine Room but from what I've heard it became a total clusterfuck chock with homophobic owners by the end.
