Any idea what's going on with this album?

It's a prog metal album, with some post-metal elements.

I want it so bad! It's almost a week after the release date, and there is still no official stream

Ugh I don't even know if the band has released the album yet. Such poor advertising. I'm sure we would see something by now if it was actually out.

EDIT: Never mind, it's on iTunes. I might just buy it.

Thankfully it's a good album and slightly more energetic than Absence. I just need to get used to the vocals...

I like the album as well. The vocals aren't that bad, but aren't as incredible as all prior Blindead records. The new vocalist is decent enough.

Well shit. I didn't think I would miss Patrick's vocals. False. The music is fine, but the lack of enthusiasm from the vocalist is a major deal breaker.

"Lack of enthusiasm" is a good way of describing the problem with this vocalist. Thankfully, I'm finding that this grows with repeated listens.

No, this is not Patrick ... well ... but it's an excellent album ... and the vocals are not bad at all.

Is there anywhere to listen to the full album legally? They don't have a bandcamp and it's not up on spotify. I'm interested in checking it out but I felt mixed about the last album so I don't want to pay for the whole thing without having a proper listen first

There are 3 singles available on youtube. That should give you enough of a taste. It's my disappointment of the year
